This pond that is on the property is natural spring fed. It produced enough water to water the entire property and more! This property would make a great Nursery. In the historic records these springs were noted as Sheep Springs. The story was that Native American Indians used to camp here at the springs while coming and going from and to Durango.
This pump house was built in 2008, it houses a 7.5 hp electric irrigation pump that powers an elaborate watering and sprinkler system throughout the property.
This Kabota Tractor goes with the property, it is awesome. It easily manages the snow on the entire propery while you are in a heated cab. It also has a mover attachment for the lawns in the summertime. |
