built the commercial building for a retail solution to sell our Jewelry and to market antique firearms and antique Native American Indian items that we had been collecting for years. My wife, Estell and I, John Hartman were originally Jewelers and traveled throughout the United States
marketing our Jewelry to unique galleries that sold art and Jewelry such as ours. They come to Durango for its beauty, splender and to ride the coal fired 1880's Train through the historic Animas Canyon and they also come to experiance Mesa Verde National Park. This property is located on the only route between the two attractions this area has to offer. The Train has approxamately 200,000 visitors per year and Mesa Verde has approxamately 600,000 visitors per year. They all drive past this property! And travelers are great customers and friends.
